Present main research activities are followed.
I am interesting the intracellular signaling mechanism during meiotic resumption in frog oocyte (Rana dybowskii). To reveal this mechanism at molecular level, I have focused on the regulation of MPF activity and other kinase activity during progesterone-stimulated and sponatenous oocyte maturation. Perhaps, this work will give a new insight on the understading of regulatory mechanism of oocyte maturation.
I have also focused to cloning and characterization of cDNAs encoding steroidogenic enzymes in frog (Rana species). This work will ultimately be elucidated the mechanism of steroidogenic shift occurred during follicle growth and the control mechanism of the plasma progesterone level involved in the meiotic resumption of oocyte maturation in amphibia.
