  Research Interest

The main interest is to investigate the mechanisms for hormonal regulation of inflammation and microbial infections. These include the cascade processes from platelet-activating factor release to cytokine expression through activation of the transcrition factor, NFkB

  • Signal transduction and molecular mechanisms of inflammation and infections
  • The biological role of NFkB activation in inflammation and microbial infections
  • The role of NFkB in angiogenesis
  • The mechanisms of hormone-induced angiogenesis
