  Research Interest

The nuclear hormone receptor superfamily is a group of transcription factors regulated by small hydrophobic hormones such as retinoic acid, thyroid hormone, and steroids and also includes a large number of related proteins that do not have known ligands, referred to as orphan nuclear receptors. Main research interest of my laboratory is to determine the role of orphan nuclear receptors in cell growth, differentiation and apoptosis. Currently, we are focusing our research on the mechanism of action of orphan nuclear receptor in reproductive system.
