    Research Interests

    Current research covers the areas of dynamics of molecular collisions and theoretical chemistry. Principal efforts in molecular collisions include the determination of rates of vibration-vibration, vibration-rotation, and vibration-translation energy transfer. One topic of current investigation is the dynamics of intramolecular energy flow and fragmentation in van der Waals complexes. The development of theoretical approaches for the vibrational relaxation of isolated molecules in condensed phases, gas-solid interactions dynamics and molecular dynamics simulation describing the time evolution of the collision system are other projects of current research.
