Agricultural Plant Stress Research Center(APSRC) is training students for future scientists who will challenge on plant responses upon abiotic and biotic stresses. The center provides financial supports for excellent graduate students, and employs excellent scientists with MS or Ph. D degrees to develope their careers in plant stress physiology and molecular biology. The APSRC also offers the training opportunities of graduate students in prestigious foreign universities and research institutes to foster highly qualified research scientists in plant stress physiology. This research contributions by international cooperation also greatly help to accelerate our knowledge and to accomplish the center's research goal.
The APSRC offers graduate classes to graduate students for better understanding of plant responses against environmental stresses. The center organizes seminars for researchers involving in the APSRC projects to exchange research findings and scientific information related the projects. The APSRC also holds international symposia to invites world leading scientists in plant responses upon stresses. These academic activities greatly expands our knowledge of mechanisms involving in plant resistance to environmental stresses and accelerates achieving our research goals
