My research group is involved in the development of the organic synthetic methods and the molecular design and synthesis of organic compounds with novel properties. Ongoing projects include the asymmetric synthesis using novel chiral auxiliaries, synthesis of biologically active heterocyclics, novel design and synthesis of immunosuppressants, polymeric polymer additives, solid phase organic reaction for combinatorial chemistry, and preparation of the fine chemicals using silicas and zeolites.
