In this laboratory, deformation and fracture, friction and wear, adhesion and fatigue crack growth of rubbery elastomers are studied, based on correlation between polymer morphology and physical properties. In addition, the thermal-shrinkage behavior of semi-crystalline polymeric materials is also investigated. The laboratory is well equipped with internal mixer, milling machine, rheometer, hot press, UTM, fatigue-crack growth tester, friction and wear tester, and thermal-shrinkage force tester for carrying out these experimental work.
