If the 20th century was an age of the electrons, the 21th century will become an age of light. Nowerdays, this comes true since we make use of the new technologies in everyday life, which was developed with the application of light. In the last 20 years, we have been studied the development of new photofunctional materials that are sensitive to visible or ultraviolet light. For example, photoresists for micro-photofabrication process, data or image recording materials, polymeric additives, and visible light cured dental resin composites etc.were studied in our laboratory. About 40 master coures and 4 Ph.D. course students were graduated, and they are now working in the research institute, companies, or universities.
