Students who apply for CNU should submit the required documents. Candidates are
then selected by an admissions committee. Students who wish to transfer from
other departments should also submit the required documents, with the Dean's
signature. Students may only change departments once. The students who are
accepted must choose one department as their major area among the departments in
their division when they are a sophomore and/or junior. A student who already
has a Bachelor's degree can be enrolled as a junior (except in the Medicinal
school, Dentistry, and Veterinary Medicine). Students who withdrew or were
expelled from school can be re-admitted once they are within the student quota.
When a student is absent from school for more than four weeks because
of illness or other unavoidable circumstances, She must submit an application
for temporary leave signed by his her guarantor to the Dean. The period of
temporary leave should be less than two years (not to exceed two successive
semesters). The period can be extended when caused by compulsory military
service. Returning to school is permitted at the end of the temporary leave
period.

Students should pay the specified amount of tuition and other necessary fees
within the designated period. The President can exempt some students with
excellent academic achievement or poor economic circumstances from paying a
certain amount of the tuition. However, students who were given a punishment of
definite or indefinite suspension from the university may not be exempted from
paying a certain amount of the tuition. For students
who have enrolled for more than 8 semesters and their remaining credits are
less than 11, the PTA fee can be refunded. Students who are enrolled in a double major and who want
to graduate early should follow the relevant academic rules; when in a double
major program, they are required to pay the higher of the two departments'
fees. Among candidates for early graduation, those lacking a CGPA or giving
up on early graduation must pay the tuition fee as well. |
